The little hamlet of Mezzuola, located above Greve on one of the most beautiful of the Chianti hills, has been attractively restored by Riccardo and Nicoletta Franconeri. |

The third floor of the Fienile has a charming apartment (330 sq.ft.) with one double bedroom, separate kitchenette, bathroom with shower, and also centrally heated. Private garden. The rental is Euro 80 per day (reduced rate until 5 April 2003, Euro 56 per day). |

Aside from providing relaxation by the swimming pool, Mezzuola is ideally suited for cultural and outdoor activities. Transportation can be provided for art and gastronomic excursions. Hiking and mountain bike excursions through the olive groves and vineyards, for example to Montefioralle and San Cresci, are just two of the possibilities. |
||
For a modest additional sum, the Franconeri family will be happy to provide their guests with European- or American-style breakfasts as well as typical Tuscan snacks served in their apartments. |

To find out how to reach Mezzuola, please refer to www.greve-in-chianti.com and then look at the map opposite (109 KB). Take the road from Greve past Fattoria Zano and San Cresci. If you come by bus, Sig. Franconeri will pick you up in Greve. |
